           Smartphones have changed the way society views media today and has allowed for a cultural convergence.           Tablet are the new computers. They have changed society's expectation of mass media and culture by allowing connection at anytime in any place. Tablets allow mass comminication for any given purpose as well. They break the lines of distance and differences amongst others at different locations in the world. The internet and worldwide web were not only made mobile, but accessible with and omnipresence. Tablets help others carry their business and personal lives with them in order to connect and share concurrently. They remain obsolete as other items such as smartphones do not have as much streaming and data capabilities and laptops are not as portable. Samsung Galaxy tablets and IPAD minis are a couple that have no comparison in functionality. Blog Group 1: 21st Century Communicators need Dual Skill Sets

        As a parent in the 21st century, I have found it just as important to teach technology as it is to teach reading mechanics. As a mother and educator, I do both. My son has learned how to use and peruse through smartphones, tablets, and computers starting at the age of 2. He learned this before he started reading. This ability has allowed him to understand geometrics and engineer manipulatives on the screen. This made me wonder what some of the skills are needed to be the Film or Television producer he wants to become. I am sure technological advances have altered the requirements for students entering the work world after completing training programs in the industry.

         New skill sets in addition to the old ones such as public speaking skills and production. It is best to be train in additional things like finance and economics in order to be able to manage and  budget  the production finances. On top of the technological aspects, this is needed in order to have the skills needed for the job and set yourself apart from others entering the field. Blog Group 1: Florida Polytechnical College

If anyone had driven by Polk Parkway in Central Florida and seen this domed being built. This is Floida Polytechnical Campus (http://floridapolytechnic.org) have been interested in what might be going on inside. I searched the web and found out that it is a new science and engineering school based on today's technological advanced. I was intrigued by this idea and perused to website to find out even more. It seems two of the programs were communications related and would advance a person in their career that much further. One program is cloud virtualization. This program allows businesses to look at "the cloud" and decide which products are best for the productivity of their company.  Another is big data analytics. This program helps prepare advertisers on social media networks to estimate their capabilites on the world wide web. Both programs have transformed the media industry as far a incorporated technology and will prepare the next group of communicators on the bachelors and masters level to be ahead of the rest.

     If you are familiar with TED Talks ( www.ted.com/talks) you will know that it is an important informational tool.Here you will find a display speakers from all walks of life and how they have "ideas worth spreading". This product has revolutionized the communications field as we know it today. I do not know how may professional developments of learning resources that have come from or referenced these videos. As a provider of news in the communications field one must be ready to be video recorded. As a recorded entity you must have certain qualities as that video can be viewed over and over, by as many people whom it's shared with. I have noted the qualities to be the following:
- Stage presence
- Neat and clean appearance
- Clarity of thoughts and ideas
- Meaningful purpose

All of these things seem attainable, but what do you need in order to obtain them?
A bachelors degree in business is now needed to obtain all the things you need to be presentable for the business world. A program that focuses on internship after the completion of the program is ideal.
